This past week in my picks I went 10 for 16, which is pretty good... I was much better with the later games (including Monday Night,) going 6 for 7... Overall for Weeks 1 & 2 combined, I am 17 for 31 (about 54%.)
Here's a recap of the results from this past week's games.
Please Note, the starred games are the games I correctly guessed and the highlighted team is the team I initially chose, the score is the actual score...
1:00 Games:
Baltimore (10) @ Cincinnati (15) - I would not have predicted this.
Miami (14) @ Minnesota (10) - Again, who would've thought Miami would win over Minnesota who is now 0-2.
Chicago (27) @ Dallas (20) - Ugh... I don't want to talk about it.
*Philly (35) @ Detroit (32) - Michael Vick earned himself a starting job in Week 3 with his performance in this game.
*Arizona (7) @ Atlanta (41) - Atlanta sailed to victory without problem.
*Kansas City (16) @ Cleveland (14) - Kansas City is starting to look pretty sharp... Cleveland doesn't.
*Buffalo (7) @ Green Bay (34) - As if there was any question.
Pittsburgh (19) @ Tennessee (11) - Pittsburgh is thriving with defense and handling things pretty well in Roethlisberger's absence.
Tampa Bay (20) @ Carolina (7) - Tampa Bay is making things happen.
4:00 Games:
*St. Louis (14) @ Oakland (16) - I just had a feeling Oakland would win this game... and they did.
Seattle (14) @ Denver (31) - Denver destroyed Seattle, I was way off on this prediction.
*Houston (30) @ Washington (27) - It took overtime for Houston to win against The Redskins... maybe they're better than we thought... The Redskins I mean.
*Jacksonville (13) @ San Diego (38) - San Diego bounced back from their defeat last week and won convincingly.
*New England (14) @ NY Jets (28) - Wow... what a game, The Jets finally put their money where their mouth is and defeated a very tough division rival.
SNF:
*NY Giants (14) @ Indy (38) - Indy mopped the floor with Eli Manning and the Giants.
MNF:
*New Orleans (25) @ San Fransisco (22) - In a game that the 49ers outplayed The Saints... New Orleans got lucky with turnovers at the right time.
It's already Thursday, I will try to get my Week 3 picks in as soon as possible.
